In terms of tutoring experience, I have quite a bit of it. For 2 years I worked in the peer tutoring program of Batavia Senior High School, where I ended up working as an in-class tutor mainly for advanced algebra classes. In addition, I also have experience working with special needs students through that program. I have also worked as a Teaching Assistant during my time at Monmouth College, within the Physics department. I worked as a TA in the labs of Physics 1, Physics 3, and Astronomy. Additionally, I also ended up leading a group of freshmen in an independent study project about earthquake analysis, where I needed to not only teach them how to work the programs we were using, but also needed to teach them how to put together a professional poster. I volunteered at a Robotics Summer Camp in the Fox Valley area, where we would supervise 1st to 5th graders in not only teaching them about robotics, but also some other general science activities. Finally, I also have leadership experience from my time at Monmouth College, both being a board member for our Tabletop Gaming Society, as well as working on those independent study programs.

Hobbies

I have a very large interest in working with my hands, as I was in robotics while I was in high school for 3 years. I also have a massive interest in space and the study of stars, as I was working for my senior research project to erect the telescope at my university. I am very much a thinker, with an interest not only in math and physics, but in philosophy as well. In my free time, I enjoy not only collectible card games, such as Magic the Gathering, but also writing, meditating, and gaming, both of the traditional tabletop and the video variety.
