Hi, I'm Kristina. I have taught individual students for the last nine years. I got my undergrad degree at Illinois Wesleyan University where I took courses in Spanish and Biology in preparation for study in Quito, Ecuador. Through the program, I visited the Galapagos Islands and the Amazon rainforest. I love to travel and after graduation I hiked for five months through Europe drinking in the culture and history. I got my master's degree in Marine Science from the University of Oregon. There I studied oysters, researching my thesis. I also taught Marine Science in nearby elementary school. For 3 years after I provided informal science education while I lived in San Francisco. I enjoy teaching and sharing my passion for Spanish and Science. I am looking forward to tutoring students here in Illinois. I like tutoring. I can connect one-on-one with my pupils.I tutor my students in math subjects from elementary math through algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. I also teach in the sciences, including chemistry, biology, organic chemistry, physics, and life sciences, as well as others. Also, because of my education and travel, I am able to tutor students in Spanish, all the way through Spanish 4. Finally, I am able to assist students who are preparing for standardized tests such as the GED, ACT, and SAT.
