I graduated from George Mason University with my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction for Elementary Education with a 4.0 GPA.

Experience:

I tutored many students while completing my degree in Elementary Education (7+ years). I assisted children with reading, math, social studies, and science. I now have my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am licenced to teach Kindergarten though 6th grade and taught in a first grade classroom. I want to be a tutor because I love working with students. I know that one on one instruction can really push a student past whatever he or she is struggling with and I love watching that light go on. I am caring, patient, fun, and enjoy thinking creatively about how to help students advance to the next level.

Hobbies:

I enjoy being outside, reading, knitting, and spending time with my family and friends. I also like to play games and do a variety of crafts. I am married and have 3 children. The baby is 5 months old. I plan to go back to teaching when my kids are a little bit older.

A recent graduate of Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Education – Elementary Education. Five straight semesters on the Dean's List, an overall GPA of 3.36/4.0, and a major GPA of 3.77/4.0. I am certified to teach Kindergarten-8th grade.

Experience:

I am a recent college graduate with a degree in Elementary Education, and am certified to teach grades K-8. I recieved the 2011 Outstanding Pre-Service Teacher Award from Western Illinois University. I love helping children learn, improve in areas they may struggle with, and most importantly succeed. I have university fieldwork experience tutoring K-3rd graders as well as 6-7th graders. I completed my pre-student teaching in a first grade classroom, and my student teaching in a fifth grade classroom! I have also had a recent private tutoring job in which I was able to help the student meet or exceed all expectations on his next report card. Hobbies:
